Top 10 crowd raises of FY2026

FY2026 brought a fresh cohort defined by sustainability and impact - recycling, regenerative food, marine restoration and clean mobility - alongside familiar names returning to the crowd. (Figures for the most recent raises are as reported at the close of each campaign.) These are the ten largest Birchal raises that closed in the 2026 financial year (1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026), by total raised.

1. RecycleSmart — $1,310,294 from 979 investors. The on-demand recycling service led the year with its third raise on the platform - the 'three raises, one loyal community' story - topping $1.3 million.

2. Benzina Zero — $1,172,239 from 105 investors. The electric-mobility manufacturer raised over $1.1 million from just 105 investors, one of the year's largest average cheque sizes.

3. Earthletica — $1,132,188 from 434 investors. Olympian Bronte Campbell's sustainable activewear brand raised $1.13 million and made community ownership central to its growth plan.

4. Birchal — $846,887 from 495 investors. The platform returned to its own community once more.

5. Farmthru — $810,966 from 478 investors. Rachel Ward's farm-direct, regenerative grocery - one of our featured success stories - raised $810,966 to expand its drive-thru hub model.

6. Aquafab — $615,717 from 308 investors. The plant-based cocktail foamer behind bars and on cruise ships worldwide raised $615,717 to fund its international expansion.

7. Reckless Brewing Co — $513,068 from 238 investors. Australia's largest women-owned brewery brought independent craft beer back to the leaderboard.

8. Pulsatile Innovations — $397,966 from 268 investors. The medtech developing a first-of-its-kind cardiac-arrest detection device for everyday rescuers.

9. Ulleo — $379,637 from 90 investors. An education-sector venture that closed a focused round from 90 investors.

10. Wosup — $367,620 from 243 investors. A technology brand rounding out the FY2026 top ten.

FY2026's defining feature was impact at scale: the biggest raises of the year were companies fixing recycling, food supply, oceans and emissions - and inviting their communities to own the solution.
