Bayswater moving to Kensington

As we reach the conclusion of our wonderful equity crowdfunding journey, here is a note from company founder David Baker - "1999, what a year it was, teaching chemistry and enjoying life but one situation needed to be sorted out here in Australia. Could we make Single Malt Whisky in Australia? The Scots said NO because we didn’t have the “Special Air and Water” that they did in Scotland and if you didn’t have that air and water you couldn’t do it. What rubbish I thought - we make some of the best wines and beers in the world and it’s just a chemical process. Understand the process and it must be possible. And this I did. Our first batch was produced in 2000 and the rest is now history. We’ve been unable to keep up with demand ever since. Wanting to build an independent Family Business and not a huge faceless corporation - growth has been slow but very much under control - but now as we will be moving into the perfect location in Kensington, we decided to open up and raise capital from like-minded people who love the idea of being involved in this fantastic operation. This equity crowdfunding campaign has been absolutely amazing and I’ve really been blown away with the support we have received. Over 250 people (investing over $600,000) have felt they would like to be actively involved in shaping the future of Bakery Hill. This next growth phase will allow to shortly open our Whisky Cellar Door, increase production substantially and get into markets that we have previously been unable to supply. For those who have invested I would like to personally thank you and welcome you on board with the Bakery Hill Family. I look forward to sharing a dram with you very soon. Warm Regards" David B

Hi everyone, I've been getting some great questions on breaking down why people would invest in Equity Crowdfunding. Something other people may no doubt be thinking. He's some words I have put together. Our offer as per all Equity Crowdfunding offers, provides the opportunity for capital growth over a longer investment window. Whilst "cashing out" is difficult in the short term, investors believe that the company will grow over the long term, and that if/when the company reaches one of the "exit criteria" (Share Buyback, business sale, listing on the ASX etc) that their shares will be worth significantly more than they invested initially. Whilst we are not looking to reach one of these exit criteria in the next 5 years, we are certainly looking towards issuing dividends within that period. In addition to the potential capital growth, businesses engaging equity crowdfunding offer "Investor Rewards" to give something more tangible back in the short term. See page 30 of the Offer Document for our Investor Rewards So we feel there certainly are opportunities and benefits for investors at all investment levels. Our opinion is that the business will be worth considerably more in the years to come than right now. Birchal has also provided an article which explains why people invest in Equity Crowdfunding from a more general perspective. https://help.birchal.com/en/articles/3176705-equity-crowdfunding-how-does-it-all-work-a-guide-for-prospective-investors?fbclid=IwAR2dW2org8vAVpSzQgosuYWiTW427yOslkfJtX0g4LqioSLcmgctBaIcH44 I hope this has been helpful! Thanks so much for your support, just two and bit days to go in our campaign, thanks for over 220 people getting on board and investing over $550K. It really will make a huge difference to our business in the years to come! Cheers AB
