After a wild and wet boat ride to Little Dog Island today we got stuck into an Aboriginal archaeological field study. First we located previously recorded sites (pre-GPS so took a bit of searching). Then we discovered this new site which included a shell and bird bone midden and a cutting tool. The proposed location for the accommodation is well away from these significant sites and will not impact on the planning application.

Things continue to progress with our planning pplication for Little Dog Island and we now have a Regenerative Tourism report to share with you which is out for consultation.
