4.
To help our friendly nation of India tackle the ongoing coronavirus emergency, the company has made donations for 1 Oxygen Concentrator.
The advantage of using oxygen concentrators as compared with oxygen cylinders is that these concentrators recycle oxygen directly from the air by taking in ambient air, running it through molecular sieve beds and releasing the nitrogen content back into the air while retaining the separated oxygen. Cylinders, which are already in a severe shortage across India, need to be refilled every time. One low-flow concentrator can treat and save the lives of up to 900 patients with mild to moderate illness.
Others looking to make a contribution can contact Rocketeer for guidance or can do so through India’s leading donation platform Milaap. They do not charge any platform fees and the full amount will be mobilised for providing oxygen.
