An interesting week with a number of new milestones being reached. As of Thursday morning we have had our largest sales week and largest production week which obviously go hand in hand, we have also had our best week of incoming orders, I mention this as we only count sales as they are shipped. However the most interesting was the volume of new sales enquiries for our water, which eclipses the last 6 months combined and was spread across many industries, from independant retail outlets to retail groups, distillerys, resorts and hotels and more. As our reach grows we are finding that it has an exponential impact on enquiries. Also, we have are having interesting conversations with a particularly well known outlet in a Northern NSW coastal town ( but cant say where ) and are very hopeful if it goes ahead our bottles may end up in the hands of a Hemsworth or Pataky who are great ocean conservation ambassadors. On that note we would also be happy with a Damon or Efron or any other A Lister who may wish to tag us on Insta :-) I have also attached a very interesting animated TED video on the life cycle of the plastic water bottle which shares both the good and the bad ( there is more bad than good )

This week we have reached a number of key tipping points with the brand. We have ranging in Bunzl now who have a national supply agreement with the Accor Group of hotels, it was some these hotels in Noosa that were early adoptors of our aluminium bottle. Having a listing with a wholesale partner that services these hotels removes a significant barrier to entry to the hospitality sector. The interesting thing to note here ( as ashamed I am to admit it ) is that Bunzl were not on our radar. This came from the Noosa launch and the request from some Accor Hotels in the area. What we are experiencing is that each activity we release is leading to further enquiries / conversations to range the Blue Springwater aluminium bottle. We have also finalised the launch dates across The Distributor Network - this is a 39 member wholesale group who as it turns out supply 27,000 customers nationally in the EOI we had flagged 15,000 ( this was erroneous ). This will be a phased roll out over 12 - 16 weeks as our production capacity grows. Again and similar to Bunzl, having a wholesale partner allows the conversation to start with the key retail brands The Distributors service. These activities alone should see us achieve capacity of our first printer production hub - the EOI Doc explains further what that is and opens up the window to start looking at building our second printer production hub early next year.
